Findings is a compilation of six stories that I wrote throughout the semester for Auburn Family, Auburn University's social network. The stories featured highlight students at Auburn and how they have found their niche. I chose to name my publication Findings because of how the magazine reveals the authenticity on Auburn's campus.
Within this magazine, you will find a note from the editor explaining the reason for the magazine as well as a deeper explanation of the title, a table of contents highlighting the stories in the magazine and finally a series of six blog posts written over the course of the semester with subtitles, bylines, pull quotes and corresponding pictures. My magazine was created with the Adobe Creative Cloud application InDesign, and through the process of putting the magazine together, I gained valuable knowledge about principles of graphic design and typography.
The stories you will find in this magazine are listed as follows:
-Auburn Student to Work for Teach for America
-Beat Bama Food Drive: Auburn's Mission to Fight Hunger
-How to Get Involved with Project Uplift
-Six Benefits of Studying Abroad
-Bangladesh to Auburn: An International Adjustment
-Hint of Auburn at March for Life
